Also ‘Remorse’, a poem by Siegfried Sassoon, – to mark the 100th anniversary of the Armistice – followed by Leontyne Price singing the Miserere from Il Trovatore.
And we remember the wonderful soprano Monserrat Caballe, who died in October.
Tonii Kelly of Guaire Magazine joined me in studio today with an update on their children’s writing competition, and deadlines. Workshops have taken place during the winter and the closing date for the competition is 20 April. Full details and entry forms at guaire.org
